MAIB Program Overview

The world of business is changing. Possessing knowledge of the global marketplace and complementary management skills is vital to leading businesses in the next millennium. Liberalization of trade, and the move to market economies, have increased the opportunities available to businesses. The term "global village" describes today's business community.

To succeed in this business climate, organizations will seek managers who can successfully navigate this labyrinth. To do so will require an international perspective and the understanding of not only the possible pitfalls, but also the great opportunities that arise from competitive global markets driven by peoples of diverse cultures.

To address this emerging dimension in management education and to acquaint students with the global nature of business, the Warrington College of Business Administration has developed a Master's Program with a focus on International Business. The graduate program in international business is open to those recent graduates possessing a bachelor's degree in business or who minored in business.

Minor in Business Administration

The program is tailored to prepare individuals for a variety of career paths in the global job market. While an undergraduate program provides broad skills and technical sophistication, many students require honing of the international awareness that global enterprises require, and will increasingly require, for the remainder of these graduates' lifetimes. Many jobs at multi-national companies, law firms, and non-profit or government organizations require an international perspective.
