Biography:
Alice holds a BS in mathematics and a BA in French from the College of Charleston, as well as an International MBA and Certificate of Applied Statistics from the University of South Carolina. Her primary research interests include corporate finance, payout policy, and behavioral finance. She also has extensive teaching experience in finance, math and statistics.

Biography:
Cem Demiroglu has a Bachelor’s in business administration from Bogazici University in Turkey and a Masters in finance from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He has worked for two different securities investment companies in Istanbul, and he joined UF’s finance Ph.D. program in the fall of 2002. Cem’s research interests include initial public offerings, seasoned equity offerings, and analyst forecasts.

Biography:
Gao received her B.S. in mathematics at Fudan University in Shanghai. Before entering UF’s finance doctoral program, she earned a Master’s in applied math (concentrating in statistics and probability) at the University of Florida. Gao’s primary interests include initial public offerings and mutual funds.

Biography:
Before entering the doctoral program in finance, Jennifer Itzkowitz earned a BS and an MS in mathematics at the University of Florida. While pursuing her masters degree and specializing in combinatorics, Jennifer was selected as a Grinter Fellow and won a graduate teaching award. Jennifer spends her free time traveling, hiking, and cooking.

Biography:
Brandon has a BS in management with certificates in economics and finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology. At Georgia Tech he received the NationsBank/Mills B. Lane Memorial Scholarship Award, served as a teaching assistant for the College of Computing, and worked as a student cooperative at Delta Air Lines. Prior to joining the finance Ph.D. program at UF, he managed a commercial loan portfolio at SunTrust Bank and Security Bank in Atlanta and Macon, Georgia. His current research interests are corporate risk management, capital structure, and financial institutions regulation.

Sabuhi holds a BBA degree in Economics and Management from Pittsburg State University and an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Missouri - Columbia. Prior to attending the University of Florida's doctoral program, Sabuhi also worked as a financial analyst for Sprint Corporation's Corporate Financial Planning Division at their headquarters in Kansas City. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program at UF, Ben spent two and a half years with Navigant Consulting working within the operations and auditing divisions of several prominent investment banks, insurance providers, hedge funds, and real estate investment firms. Ben earned a B.S. in Economics, a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance), and a minor certificate in Mathematics at Villanova University. His current research interests include real estate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance.
