Finance Degree Programs

The University of Florida's Finance Ph.D. program will not be admitting any new students for the Fall 2005 year. Last year, we admitted five students (two more than usual), and we currently have 16 students in the program. Only one student is graduating this year, and the equilibrium size of our program is 15 students. This is the reason UF will not be admitting any new finance Ph.D. students next year. However, UF is not moving towards an "every other year" recruiting program. After Fall 2005, we anticipate admitting students every subsequent year.
