Requirements

Admission to the Nathan S. Collier Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) Program is competitive and based on a number of factors including the applicant's GMAT score and academic record. Students are assumed to have some background in basic finance, accounting, business statistics and economics. Students with no such background are encouraged to take a basic finance course before beginning the MSRE program.

Students must apply separately to each program and meet the admissions requirements for both the College of Law and the Master of Science in Real Estate Program. Students may begin one of the two programs before acceptance in the other. However, to qualify for joint degree status, current law students must be admitted into the MSRE Program by the end of their fourth law school semester.

Admissions procedures for students applying to the Nathan S. Collier MSRE program as joint JD/MSRE students are the same as for other students admitted to the MSRE Program except that the professional work experience component is less important. Also, current UF Law Students in the Comparative & Tax Programs do not complete the UF Admissions application.

Minimum Requirements for Admission

There are a maximum of 30 students admitted to the program each year. The successful applicant will have:

  1. A bachelor's degree from an approved institution
  2. A minimum GPA of 3.0 (last 60 hrs of undergraduate coursework)
  3. A minimum GMAT score of 550
