The mission of the ISOM Ph.D. Program is to educate scholars who will make substantial contributions in their field of research. Thus, our primary goal is to train graduate students to make such contributions in their chosen field. To achieve this goal, we attempt to place students in academic research environments.

Today's business leaders must draw from a variety of disciplines in order to become effective decision-makers. The Master of Science degree in Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) is designed to provide students with computing, quantitative and applications skills vital to a business problem-solving setting.

The University of Florida's Executive MS-ISOM (SCM) is a professional degree focusing on the study of Information Technology enabled Supply Chains. The Program is designed to meet the special needs of working professionals.

Combined Degree

Students currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Accounting programs at the University of Florida may pursue the ISOM master's degree through the Combined Degree Program.

Students who pursue an undergraduate business degree at the University of Florida enjoy an educational experience that is nationally recognized for academic excellence. Professional academic advisors in the School of Business, assist students with registration and course schedule planning, selecting minors and varied educational paths, career and professional advising, and opportunities to participate in leadership building activities, study abroad options, and graduate and professional programs.
