Course Waiver Policy
In rare cases, students who meet certain requirements will be waived out of one or more of the following required MS-ISOM courses: ISM 6128, ISM 6129, ISM 6222, ISM 6223, QMB 6755, QMB 6756, ISM 6215, MAN 6581, QMB 6358. It is completely up to the discretion of the faculty member teaching the course to waive the course - we will NOT consider appeals to any faculty members' decision. Students who do obtain a waiver must realize that they will be required to make up the credit hours using one or more of the elective course credits.
Find Elective Course CreditsTo obtain a waiver for one or more courses, a student is required to:
- Download and fill out the Course Waiver Petition.
- See the faculty member teaching the course preferably prior to the start of a semester or latest by the first day of class (this is to ensure that if the waiver is not approved, the student can still register for the course).
- If the waiver is approved, it must be filed (with all required signatures) with the Director of Student Services within the first week of classes.
