UF's Management Department Most Productive in the Nation 2003-2006

According to data compiled by Texas A&M University, the UF management department has been the most productive in the nation over the past four years. The study analyzed the research productivity of management departments in the top management journals at AAU universities.

The universities were chosen for analysis based on whether they are members of the Association of American Universities (AAU). The AAU represents the 62 most prominent research universities in North America.

Notes: (1) that these data are not adjusted for faculty size; (2) only management departments were included (excluding psychology departments, industrial relations centers, other business school departments, etc.); (3) only one affiliation per article is counted (so that an article by two or more authors from the same university is counted only once).
