What Are Web Statistics?
The measurement of data related to the usage of a website. This data can be used to answer questions such as:
- How many people visited my web site?
- What were the most/least popular pages?
With this kind of information, we can measure our successes and plan for improved website performance.
What Sites Can Be Tracked?
Currently, we track only web sites on the WCBA web server (cba.ufl.edu). Web sites residing on the "bear" server (bear.cba.ufl.edu) are not tracked.
We provide these statistical reports, via this website, on a semesterly basis to entities within the college. In addition to this, one custom report may be requested per academic term. To request a report for your department, program or center, please submit a CBAHelp Request, including the span of time to track and any urls to be included in the report. Reports are provided in pdf format.
